In accordance with the Notice of the Ministry of Natural Resources on the Selection of a New Batch of National Green Mines (Natural Resources Office Notice [2025] No. 8) and the Notice of the Shandong Provincial Department of Natural Resources on the Recommendation and Review of National Green Mines (Lu Natural Resources Office Letter [2025] No. 33), the expert review team from the Shandong Institute of Geological Sciences conducted an on-site evaluation of the Dayinyezhuang Gold Mine for its 2025 "National Green Mine" certification on September 10, 2025. As a third-batch pilot unit for national green mines in 2013 and one of the first mines included in the National Green Mine Directory in 2020, Dayinyezhuang Gold Mine has consistently adhered to the National Green Mine Construction Standards, continuously improving in areas such as mining environment, resource extraction, comprehensive resource utilization, low-carbon practices, ecological restoration, environmental governance, and technological innovation. During the review, the expert team conducted field inspections, document reviews, and interviews, focusing on key indicators including resource utilization, ecological restoration, environmental protection, and technological advancements.
In terms of efficient resource utilization, Dayinyezhuang Gold Mine has exceeded the Minimum "Three Rates" Requirements for Gold Mine Resource Development and Utilization in Shandong Province, achieving 100% waste rock backfilling in mined-out areas, comprehensive tailings utilization, and zero discharge of mine water—establishing a full-chain resource management model of "extraction-utilization-recycling." In ecological restoration, the mine strictly implements the Mine Geological Environment Protection and Land Reclamation Plan, with 36 ground deformation monitoring points and regular water and soil quality assessments. It has fully paid land reclamation funds and invested a cumulative 17.3981 million yuan in geological environment remediation. The mine’s greening coverage rate continues to rise, earning it the title of "Provincial Garden-Style Enterprise."
The review team unanimously concluded that Dayinyezhuang Gold Mine maintains valid permits, adheres to standardized mining practices, achieves high resource efficiency, and effectively implements ecological protection measures. It passed the review with an outstanding score of 94 points. The experts also provided guidance for the mine’s next steps in green mine development.
Moving forward, Dayinyezhuang Gold Mine will use this review as a new starting point to further invest in green mine construction:Deepen the circular economy model and accelerate the establishment of a low-carbon operational ecosystem for mines.Strengthen technological innovation to optimize extraction processes, aiming to maintain leading technical and economic standards among domestic peers.Enhance comprehensive resource utilization to meet advanced industry benchmarks.Promote full-scale clean production and continuously improve mining environment quality.Expedite land reclamation and ecological restoration in disturbed areas while exploring new management models in line with national environmental regulations.Strengthen community collaboration, actively fulfill social responsibilities, and drive regional economic synergy.By the end of the planning period, the mine aims to establish itself as a modern, eco-friendly, community-harmonized, and culturally distinctive green mine, setting a benchmark for high-quality development in the industry.
